Abode Group announced earlier today that a new 180-room hotel with restaurant and retail spaces will open in Braddon in July next year.
Located in the heart of the city, Abode Braddon will be the seventh property within the Abode Hotels portfolio, securing parent company Abode Group’s, position as the largest accommodation provider within the ACT.
Abode Hotels general manager Rien Donkin said that Abode Braddon will expand and strengthen the unique Abode Hotels brand offering, and further complement the existing accommodation footprint within the Canberra region.
“Currently offering accommodation to guests across five key locations in Canberra, Abode Braddon will add to the guest choice across the Abode Hotels portfolio,” Mr Donkin said.
“Abode Braddon will seamlessly integrate into and embrace the modern, exciting culture of the surrounding suburb, bringing even more vibrancy and value to the neighbourhood.
“We are excited to deliver another hotel which offers a complete guest experience.
“Abode Braddon will feature excellent accommodation, premium food and beverage outlets, a buzzing CBD location, all on the footsteps of the planned Capital Metro light rail network.
“The addition of Abode Braddon to the hotel portfolio is highly anticipated by our existing guests seeking a city-side stay and further diversifies our offering for new domestic and international visitors alike,” said Mr Donkin.
Abode Braddon is on track to open mid-July 2019 and is part of Geocon’s $200 million residential and commercial Midnight development, designed by renowned architects Fender Katsalidis.
Abode Braddon will be located at 92 Northbourne Avenue (Cnr of Northbourne Ave and Elouera St).
